Michigan State University did not win the NCAA Basketball Championship but get into the final game after beating 2 #1 seeds before losing to UNC.
The Pistons after the trade for Iverson have slipped to below .500 & have the eight seed in the NBA East playoffs while Denver has captured the 2nd seed in the West.
The Lions still were 0-16.
The Tigers are at least above .500 at this time vs. last year when they started off really bad & kept it up all year.
The RedWings have the 2nd seed in the West & won their first playoff game.
