Lies

Miguel Tejada (a MLB player, plays SS)  lies to a Congressional committee about using steroids.  He has been bought up on federal charges & pleaded guilty.

An interesting situation where if you lie to Congress you commit a federal crime but if a Congressman lies to us there is no penalty.  Actually in general if he lies to get elected, the only penalty is to us as his constituents who have to suffer with him for 2 or 4 or 6 years.

I propose that we level the playing field & get to un-elect them if they lie.

POLITICIAN, (n) An eel in the fundamental mud upon which the superstructure of organized society is reared. When we wriggles [sic] he mistakes the agitation of his tail for the trembling of the edifice. As compared with the statesman, he suffers the disadvantage of being alive (DD)
