This is an intersting video with normal people showing that they don't have the time or energy to do more than listen to the 30 second sound bites.
I like this one. The only problem I have with the video is that never once does the interviewer say the word "marginal". The "rich" don't pay 35% in federal taxes ... their marginal tax rate is 35%.
ReplyDeleteI suppose considering the mental capacities of the people he was talking to, that difference probably just would have been confusing.
I agree with the message, it just seems a little dishonest to dumb it down like that.
By the way ... I seriously doubt that the idiot who doesn't want or need all his money is in the 2%, but if he doesn't need all his money on a daily weekly monthly yearly basis, there are TONS of charities he can be handing his money over to.
